High Speed Tyre Sealant

THE PRODUCT SP1000 (Commercial vehicles)

Survival SP1000 is manufactured and designed to seal punctures in all vehicles travelling at a speed exceeding 120km/h. This is a Glycol based product combined with imported fibres, shredded rubber, adhesion agents, anti-rust inhibitors and small percentage of latex – together with components that will not separate when exposed to high centrifugal force. When inserted, the sealant will form a semi-solid mat covering the full tread area of the tyre. As punctures occur, Survival SP1000 gets drawn into the whole and forms a flexible plug which will seal the puncture permanently. Survival SP1000 will not effect the balancing of the tyre as long as the wheels are balanced before the product is installed. Survival SP1000 is water-soluble and easy to clean. Survival SP1000 is the end result of a long line of products that were tested in endeavour to manufacture a sealant that would work in high-speed situations with tubeless tyres. Survival SP1000 guarantees long lasting protection against punctures, therefore ensuring better safety for the end user.

SEALING PROPERTIES
During extreme tests, the result showed that as long as the correct amount of Survival SP1000 was inserted in the tyre, it will seal punctures continuously. Survival SP1000 will seal holes up to 15mm in diameter.

AIR RETENTION
Pressure tests were done on 10 day intervals. No measurable air loss was recorded.

ANTI – FREEZE AND RUST INHIBITORS
Adequate corrosion protection has been built into Survival SP1000 by using corrosion inhibitors in a special formulation to allow the various types of metals being used in the motor vehicle industry. Due to its chemical composition Survival SP1000 has a cooling effect on tyres – extending tyre life.

SURVIVAL SP1000 IS DESIGNED TO:
• Seal puncture holes permanently
• Seal porosity and pin hole leaks
• Absorb and dissipates heat

Trucks and Trailers Sealer

THE PRODUCT SP2000 (Trucks, trailers and aircraft)

Survival SP2000 is manufactured for the transport industry - mainly trucks. When combining glycol with latex, adhesion agents, anti-rust inhibitors and imported fibres and other components all held in constant suspension, that will not separate when exposed to high centrifugal force, we achieved a first in the tyre sealant technology for long distance trucks. The conditioner within the product prevents the tyre from becoming sticky. Survival SP2000 will not influence the recap ability of the tyre. The absorption of the product into the rubber has proven to strengthen the elasticity of the tyre casing. The product is designed for tubeless and tube type tyres, regardless of the speed the vehicle is travelling at.

SEALING PROPERTIES
The product is designed to seal objects that cause punctures of up to 30mm in diameter on the tread area of the tyre. Having latex/glycol as its base in a mixture of fibres, glues and preservatives, the repaired punctures are of a permanent nature. Apart from gaining excellent sealing properties, Survival SP2000 will keep the tyre pressure constant and ensure the casing to run cooler, thus solving the problems related to under-inflation, slow pressure losses and tread separations caused by heat build-ups. With all the benefits stated above, Survival SP2000 will increase the tyre life with up to 25%.

AIR RETENTION
Pressure tests were done on 30 day intervals, for up to 90 days. No measurable air loss was recorded. It is well known that under inflated tyres is one of the main reasons of excessive tread wearing and poor fuel economy.

ANTI-FREEZE AND RUST INHIBITORS
A glycol formulation is used in Survival SP2000 with a freeze point of minus 35 degrees. Adequate corrosion protection has been built into the product by using corrosion inhibitors in a special formulation to allow the various types of metals being used in the motor vehicle industries, not to rust. Extensive accelerated tests have been conducted on a number of metals and alloys. After three months of evaluation, no trace of any kind of corrosion was detected.

SURVIVAL SP2000 IS DESIGNED TO:
• Seal puncture holes permanently
• Seal bead, porosity and pin hole leaks
• Absorb and dissipates heat
• Protect the casing of the tyre
• Strengthen the casing for retread purposes

Agricultural and Industrial Sealer

THE PRODUCT SP3000 (Earthmoving and agricultural)

Survival SP3000 is a latex/glycol based product that has made a name for itself in the slow moving vehicle sector. This ranges from the underground vehicles in the mining industry to the farming industry. When combining latex with glycol, adhesion agents, anti-rust inhibitors, shredded fibre glass and the best imported fibre, together with other components, all held in constant suspension, that will not separate when exposed to high centrifugal force, we achieved a first in tyre sealant technology. Survival SP3000 has a sealing ability like no other tyre sealant in the world.
This product covers a vast segment of the market, as it offers long term protection against punctures in industries ranging from agricultural to industrial vehicles, such as the farming, construction, municipalities, garden services, game parks and mining. In fact, in any situation where the vehicle does not travel at speeds over 80 km/h.

SEALING PROPERTIES
During extreme tests the result showed that as long as enough product was available in the tyre, it will seal punctures continuously to up to 30mm in diameter. On earthmoving and mining machines we were able to seal holes up to 50mm in diameter. Cuts of 15 cm were sealed on the tread area of the tyres. The product is always ready to work for you and never lets you down. Apart from gaining excellent sealing properties, Survival SP3000 was also developed to extend the tread life of the tyre. This tyre sealant will seal porosity, hence solving the problems related to under-inflation, slow pressure losses and tread separations related to under-inflation and heat build-ups. The absorption of Survival SP3000 into the rubber has proven to strengthen the elasticity of the tyre casing, which in turn protects the tyre from objects which causes punctures. If an object is found that causes a puncture, it is important to remove the object, enabling the product to seal the puncture properly.

AIR RETENTION
Pressure tests were done on 30 day intervals, for up to 180 days. No measurable air loss was recorded. It is well known that under inflated tyres is one of the main reasons of excessive tread wearing and poor fuel economy.

ANTI-FREEZE AND RUST INHIBITORS
A Glycol formulation is used in Survival SP 3000 with a freeze point of minus 40 degrees. Adequate corrosion protection has been built into Survival SP3000 by using corrosion inhibitors in a special formulation. Extensive accelerated tests have been conducted on a number of metals and alloys. After three months of evaluation, no trace of any kind of corrosion was detected. The product was tested with liquid nitrogen and it had no effect on the sealing properties of the product.

SURVIVAL SP3000 WAS DESIGNED TO:
• Seal punctured holes up to 50 mm in diameter
• Seal sidewall cuts up to 20mm in length
• Absorb and dissipates heat

Armoured Vehicle Sealant

THE PRODUCT SP6000 (Armoured transport)

Survival SP6000 is used in the armoured transport industry. By increasing the Latex & Glycol combination within the formula, SP6000 will settle in a semi-solid layer of material, covering the full casing area. (sidewalls included)

SEALING PROPERTIES
During extreme tests the result showed that as long as enough Survival SP6000 was available in the tyre it will seal punctures for the whole duration of the tyres life. Survival SP6000 will seal punctures up to 15mm in diameters and has the strength to seal bullet penetrations from a 9mm to an AK47 assault rifle permanently.

AIR RETENTION
Pressure tests were done on 30 day intervals, for up to 180 days. No measurable air loss was recorded. It is well known that under inflated tyres is one of the main reasons of excessive tread wearing and poor fuel economy.
