WARRANTY LIMITATIONS: The person must be the original purchaser of Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant and have the product inserted into the tyres by an authorized agent. Should the tyre deflate after having been treated with Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant, the person is eligible for the benefits stated above upon presentation of this limited warranty and the unhampered tyre to his authorized dealer. For any tyre leak not curable by Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant (penetration 15mm+) the tyre must be repaired in the interest of road safety. Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant will be inserted into the tyre and the warranty renewed at no extra charge. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: Carcass slits and/or sidewall cuts, except when otherwise stated by the manufacturers, for example when fitted with Survival Agricultural and Industrial Sealer. Cost of towing. Willful and/or malicious damage or vandalism. Loss or damage due to accidents, collisions, fire, negligence or alterations. Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use or incidental or consequential damage. LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES: Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant is not liable for direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damage in connection with the use of the tyre sealant products, including any loss of life, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use or any costs or expenses of a substitute vehicle during periods of malfunction or non-use. There are no express warranties which extend beyond the description of the face hereof and no representative or dealer has any authority to make any representation or agreement on behalf of Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant. All implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for use or for any particular purpose is limited to the duration of the limited expressed warranty described herein. SURVIVAL TYRE LIFE EXTENDED GUARANTEE When driven, the tread area of a tyre builds up heat, which in turn heats the layer of glycol based tyre sealant inside the tyre. The heat is absorbed as it passes through the tyre sealant layer. Air, directly in contact with the layer of the tyre sealant, is heated. The heated air, because of its lower density, will be forced back to the rim area by cooler air (with a higher density) through centrifugal force (spinning action of the wheel). As the heated air comes into contact with the cooler surface area the air will cool down. The cooler air is then re-circulated and cools down the tyre's sidewalls on the way back to the tread area. The product is a tyre elasticity improver, being absorbed into the rubber in small proportions. The bulk of the tyre sealant forms a layer of compound that lines the tread area of the tyre (on the inside). Because of the increased surface area (added layer of tyre sealant) and the heat absorbing chemicals in the product, the use of the tyre sealant will contribute to cooler running tyres and therefore increase tyre life. TYRE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY There are various queries from agents regarding the tyre manufacturer warranties related to tyres treated with liquid tyre sealants. Our tyre sealants consist of no harmful chemicals that can cause damage to any part of a tyre manufactured in South Africa or abroad. Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant protects the casing of tyres. The product seals a puncture while the vehicle is in motion and therefore reduces the risk of any driver losing control of the vehicle. The risk of a blow-out on a tyre treated with the product is reduced due to the products ability to keep the tyres running cooler. The product keeps the air pressure of the tyre constant and prevents the tyres from running under-inflated. Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant is non- toxic and non flammable. Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant will replace any tyre claim rejected by the manufacturers of such tyres treated with Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant. The manufacturers must, however, state the cause why the product was at fault. Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant comes guaranteed for the legal tread life of the tyre. In any unlikely event of the tyre treated with Survival Liquid Tyre Sealant being punctured, the tyre will be repaired and Survival reinserted by Survival Free of charge.
